Operation And Lighting:
1. Use only propane gas.
2. Examine the torch and handle o-rings for cuts or other damages. Replace o-ring(s)with new ones or have the unit repaire.
Damaged or missing o-rings can cause dangerous leaks.
3. Make sure the on/off adjustment knob is in "off' position when installing a gas cylinder.
4. With valve open without lighting, test all connections for leaks with soapy water at the torch and cylinder connection. Check all
joints couplings periodically to insure against loose connections. If a leak is detected, replace the gas cylinder and check for leaksagain. If leaking still occurs, the torch must not be used. Do not attach or detach torch where accidentally released gas can be ignitedby open flames. Crossed threads may results in the sudden escape of extremely flammable gas.
5. Turn the adjustment knob counter-clockwise about an 1/8th of a turn, the gas will blow-out with a light "hissing" sound from the torch.
6. For torches without self-ignition, use a match or lighter to ignite the flame. For torches with self-ignition, press "ignition button" andthe flame ill ignite instantly
