1. Like the magnet on the drain plug of several models of automobiles, a magnetic dipstick will pull any ferrous metallic fines from normal engine use that are in the oil. Since these small engines do not have an oil filter, this will help extend the life of the engine.
2. This will help protect your investmentwhile maintaining the functionality of OEM. The high temperature super magnet is partially recessed inside the dipstick and secured with an oil tolerant, high strength (4500 PSI), high temperature retaining compound.
3. The hexagonal design is adopted so that when oil gets on it, the flat surface is also easy to clean. The hex can be more easily grasped with your fingers (or wrench if necessary).
4. With anodizing, this will greatly reduce or eliminate the chance of threads wearing or freezing together (compared to bare aluminum), so that it can be disassembled without failure and damage. It can be used in conjunction with the Champion device and can also protect aluminum.
