Tips:
Please remove door handle completely from vehicle, so you can have full access to rebuild.
Quickest way to take the lever out of the door cup, is to use a Dremel or similar tool and cut the rod. You can also use a drill and drill out the end of the factory rod as it is flared out to keep it in place. The new rod is grooved to keep it in place. Take care not to damage the plastic that will be reused, there are two tabs that need to be intact for assembly.

You will need to remove the included plastic clip from the new handle, and return it once you have slipped it into the old door cup.
Pay attention to the orientation of the spring, it will need to be reattached the same way as it sits from the factory. It takes a little effort but it will go in correctly, careful on the sideways pressure you put on the plastic tabs while attaching spring. Circled in Green (PIC 3)
Once assembled check for smooth operation. Some cases will need to be slightly sized to clear, which you can use a razor knife or similar. Usually will not need this. There may be rubber nubs that need to be trimmed. You can lube the pivot points with your choice of lubricant.
