Fuel injectors good value. Works fine
Over the years I have rebuilt carbs, installed factory remanufactured units, dialed in new ones, and completed a couple fuel injection swaps. I’ve seen a few gizmos, and this one really surprised me. This carburetor is way better than I thought it was going to be. Material and component quality is quite good as well as the assembly and machine work. This will work 100 percent better than fighting with store bought rebuilds or trying to keep your stock 80’s feedback disaster alive. Value for your money… you’re probably not going to find a better solution. I tore it down to inspect, and all screws were torqued (including butterflies) with nothing stripped. The installed jets are as follows; Primary side, Main: 140 Air Corrector:170 Idle: 60 - the weird fat ones Secondary, Main: 140 Air Corrector: 160 Idle: 50 I did find a couple tiny metal shavings during the tear down which may have been from the act of tearing it down. I also want to note that my carb smelled quite strongly of rotten gas out of the box. There is nothing that indicates it was used, so I’m guessing this was due to testing at the factory. The kit includes both an electric or manual choke and everything you should need for basic install. All the components in the kit were decent and fit together nicely (including the air cleaner). I’m not fond of that style of air cleaner, but not due to quality. I had no reservations installing this and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.
